Does anyone regularly do "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5 at the TT?
|Sunday, March 27th, 2005|
I assume we're all going to make it out for Josh's last night tomorrow. We'll try not to cry!
I jogged over to the TT to retrieve my car this morning and parked in front was a silver Benz with the plates: ROGS TT. Must be the elusive Roger's car. And obviously his bar has done well for itself. It was a NICE car.Edit: Also, I am a music dork
. These are not, mind you, suggestions we could SING at the TT, merely a mood-preparing mix tape via the indie kids.

So the all-important question: WHO IS ROGER? Have we seen him? Is he a regular? Is he the guy who sings "Purple Rain" and kissed me on my birthday? Is he Vito? He could be Vito!
He's a spy I tells ya.
And dude, Kelly, what about "white tee shirt guy" as an interest. Or maybe an uninterest.

I think attendance might be low tonight -- who's in? I'm 50/50... voice is still sore from Saturday!

Uh oh, Monday the 13th
Combat the potential evils that could ensue on Monday the 13th by getting into trouble at the Tattle Tale... our new Monday night tradition.
Who's in? Assuming work doesn't cause any problems I intend to stop by for a while, although I probably won't stay too late...

Pimpin' for the Cause
I am an intern for a very cute, funny, wonderful comedian named Karen Loftus
. I am coordinating her world tour as well as getting her grants to travel and to set up her nonprofit organization which is called Body Comedy. Body Comedy is a workshop Karen brings to female prisoners, ex drug addicts and ex-prostitutes, trying to get them back in touch with their bodies through her training in European Clown technique and mime. It's VERY rewarding work and I'm happy to help her out with it.
Karen is performing on September 28, 29, and 30th at the Lillian Theatre in WeHo as a benefit for Body Comedy.
This is a Pro-Women, Pro-Vagina event and I think you all would LOVE it.
Tix are $20/night, but you get 1 3/4 hours of comedy followed by a fabulous afterparty with music (I'd rec going on Thursday as there is an afterparty catered by swank new restaurant Ice over in Unversal City where you will be treated to lots of free booze). Amoeba Records is a sponsor of ours, as are several alcohol companies and Comedy Central.
We have no means for advanced ticketing, but since we're sort of desperate for money right now, if you want to buy in advance and make Karen out a check, we'll make sure we hold tickets for you. Leave a comment or email me: SitaAnne@aol.com
Please, please come. We need fabulous women like you to support Karen!

Dude. This shit needs interests. Like, "Garth," and "Josh," and "Church Lady."
And "$4 drinks!"
